Agora IV The Charitable Sneakerball

This past Saturday was much needed in Chicago! The Museum of Science & Industry was filled with ballroom dresses, suits & sneakers at the Agora IV The Charitable Sneakerball hosted by LaRoyce Hawkins.

With Kicks 4 the City (K4TC) being a charitable program that provides shoes for the homeless communities worldwide, it was only right it’s special invited guest stepped correct as they walked the Green Carpet. One pair of sneakers in particular that caught the media’s attention was a pair of custom Jordan Retro 1’s when a simple message on the back that read, “No Photos”.

From high-top sneakers, custom sneakers, limited edition sneakers & any other sneaker you could possibly think of, you definitely got a glimpse of them at the Agora IV. But in order for your sneakers to standout & be considered “fly”, one’s attire must compliment the sneakers as well. There were some creative & unique pieces worn by some very dope individuals such as McKinley Nelson, Sandy Redd, Dr. Matthew L Stevenson III, Bridgette Flagg of Soule’, Sharon Daniels, Midge of Issues Salon Barber & Beauty Salon, Blake, Fashion Geek Zo, Dave Jeff, Stylist Johnny B and many more.

A special thank you to Catrice Armstrong of PR Werks for the invite and Kicks 4 the City for putting together such a memorable event! Can’t wait to see what sneakers hit the Green Carpet next year!
